Fun First Trailer Drops For THE WAYFINDERS Fantasy Adventure Series
Angel Studios has released the first trailer for its upcoming fantasy adventure series The Wayfinders, and it’s a pretty cool first look.
The show centers on three teens yanked straight out of everyday high school life and thrown into a world overflowing with magic, monsters, and danger. The trailer sets the tone for a story that feels energetic, heartfelt, and packed with exciting genre fun.
Brandon Purdie, Brandon Purdie, Executive Vice President of Theatrical and Brand Development at Angel Studios, shared the studio’s excitement, saying:
“This trailer gives audiences their first immersive look at the world behind The Wayfinders. The Angel Guild has been enthusiastic about this series from the start, and we’re looking forward to sharing the full series with audiences.”
The official synopsis lays out the adventure ahead. “When three high schoolers are pulled out of their world and dropped into a realm of swords, sorcery, and monsters, survival is just the beginning.
“With a rogue, a priestess, and a teenage werebear at their side, the unlikely heroes embark on quests through dungeons, battle hunters sent by a tyrant prince, and uncover a prophecy that may hold the key to both worlds. What starts as a desperate search for home becomes a journey that will test their courage and bind them together forever.”
The Wayfinders was created by Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin, the team behind The Outpost. The cast features Evan Nikolas Fields from Hacks, Tamara Smart from Percy Jackson, Vincent Mattis from Teen Wolf, Issy Knopfler from Before We Die, and Sam Buchanan from My Fault: London, along with Mackenzie Crook, known for Pirates of the Caribbean and The Office.
The series is directed by Glen Winter, whose work on Smallville, Arrow, and The Flash earned him a strong reputation in genre television. Writing duties are handled by Adam F. Goldberg, Hans Rodionoff, and Justin Partridge.
The Wayfinders looks like it will take audiences on fun fantasy ride with plenty of adventure.
