The upcoming zombie Christmas musical, Anna and the Apocalypse, has been building a lot of hype over the past few months and there seems to be a lot of people getting excited about it. This is going to be one of those films that finds a very dedicated cult following. Today we’ve got a new trailer for you to watch along with a delightful toe-tapping musical clip from the film.
The movie looks like it will be a charming blood and gore fest. The movie mixes together several different elements and genres and it definitely tries to do something unique and different. I’m excited about the movie, especially since I’m a fan of both horror films and musicals. Are there a lot of those around? Anyway, here’s the synopsis:
A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven - at Christmas - forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other...
The film was directed by John McPhail. The cast of the film includes Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cummings, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye.
