Fun New Trailer for Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson's Action-Comedy THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD

We've got a new trailer for you to watch for Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson's new action-comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard. This is a great trailer that makes the movie look like a lot of fun. I've actually already seen the film and the trailer makes it look better than it really is. While the film does have some funny and entertaining action-packed moments, the film has a weird pacing where at points it was a comedy and other points it felt like a serious drama. As I said before, It was like one of those direct to DVD B-action movies that would pop up on the shelves of your local Blockbuster Video back in the 90's.

That being said, it does have some great moments and if you can overlook the film's faults I think some of you might really enjoy it. Here's the synopsis:

The world’s top protection agent [Reynolds] is called upon to guard the life of his mortal enemy, one of the world’s most notorious hitmen [Jackson]. The relentless bodyguard and manipulative assassin have been on the opposite end of the bullet for years and are thrown together for a wildly outrageous 24 hours. During their raucous and hilarious adventure from England to the Hague, they encounter high-speed car chases, outlandish boat escapades and a merciless Eastern European dictator [Gary Oldman] who is out for blood. Salma Hayek joins the mayhem as Jackson’s equally notorious wife.

The film was directed by Patrick Hughes from a script by Tom O’Connor, and it also stars Elodie Yung, Joaquim De Almeida, Kirsty Mitchell, and Richard E. Grant. It's set to hit theaters on August 18th. I also included a funny poster for the film that you can see below the trailer.
