Fun New Trailer For THE CAT IN THE HAT Teases a Whimsical Adventure With a Lot of Heart
A third trailer has been released for the new animated take on the classic tale The Cat in the Hat, based on the beloved Dr. Seuss book.
The animated film from Warner Bros. features a stellar cast led by Bill Hader as The Cat, Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Paula Pell, Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, and Tituss Burgess.
The adaptation is co-directed and co-written by Alessandro Carloni (Kung Fu Panda 3) and Erica Rivinoja (Trolls, The Addams Family).
The synopsis reads:"Today is going to be THE. BEST. DAY. EVER!" Meet the Cat in the Hat you don't know! In the whimsical tradition of Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat comes to the big screen in his animated theatrical feature film debut, an all-new, epic adventure with an edge, where mischief, magic and mayhem reign supreme.
“Doing what he does best, the Cat—as voiced by Bill Hader—spreads joy to kids in his hilarious, signature and singularly irreverent way, transporting them and audiences on a fantastical journey through a world they've never seen before.
The Cat in the Hat has been adapted both in live-action and animation, but this looks like a really thoughtful and well-written expanded take on the story. Check out the trailer below, and watch the movie when it hits theatres on November 6th.
