I’ve got a cool video here for you to check out today with some old archival Star Wars footage that features Master Yoda creator Stuart Freeborn talking about bringing the beloved Jedi character to life. This interview is from 1979 and it’s fascinating to watch!

He shows off a Yoda hand puppet that was created to help them in their efforts to envision what the character would look like in three dimensions.

Halfway through building the Yoda animatronic puppet in July 1979, creature creator Stuart Freeborn discusses the concept of the Jedi master and the production process.

This is great stuff and a must-watch for any hardcore Star Wars fan!
