Fun Teaser for FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN with Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon - Invitation
One of my most anticipated new series of 2017 is FX Network's Feud: Bette and Joan. It's a limited series that retells the story of the famous dispute between legendary actresses Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, and it focuses on their work on the classic thriller What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
The rivalry between Davis and Crawford is the stuff legends are made of. It's one of the craziest Hollywood rivalries ever, and their story is going to make for one hell of an entertaining series!
The series was created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story), and it stars Susan Sarandon as Bette Davis and Jessica Lange as Joan Crawford. You can get your first look at the actresses in their roles above on the cover of the latest issue of EW. We also have the first promo teaser for you to enjoy. I love the old-school 1960s flare that it has as it recreates one of the iconic scenes from the film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?
FEUD: Bette and Joan, the first installment of Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series, centers on the legendary rivalry between Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) during the filming of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? and after filming ended. It explores how the two endured ageism, sexism, and misogyny while struggling to hang on to their careers.
The cast also includes Alfred Molina as the film’s director Robert Aldrich, Stanley Tucci as studio titan Jack Warner, Judy Davis as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, Jackie Hoffman as Crawford’s housekeeper Mamacita, Alison Wright as Aldrich’s assistant Pauline, Dominic Burgess as Crawford and Davis’ co-star Victor Buono, Catherine Zeta-Jones as film star Olivia De Havilland, Sarah Paulson as Geraldine Page, Kathy Bates as Joan Blondell, and Kiernan Shipka as B.D., Bette Davis’ daughter.
Feud will premiere on Sunday, March 5 on FX.
