Fun Sneak Peak at Netflix's THE CUPHEAD SHOW Animated Series

You may have heard that Netflix is developing an animated series based on the old-time cartoon-style video Cuphead, which will be titled The Cuphead Show. Well, Netflix has released a little sneak peek offering a first look at the footage along with interviews of the creative team talking about the upcoming show, which looks like a lot of fun!

The series will follow the misadventures of the “impulsive Cuphead and his cautious but persuadable brother Mugman.” The footage shows Cuphead and Mugman in action, it also gives us a look at some environments and scenes from the upcoming series. I’m pretty confident that any fan of the game will like what this series will deliver.

Executive producer CJ Kettler talks about the early 20th century Fleischer cartoons that inspired Cuphead saying, "Reimagining the Fleischer style with these incredibly relatable siblings is gonna be pretty fresh and new." Producer Dave Wasson describes Cuphead as a "lovable scamp," and art director Andrea Fernandez says the show is "going to bring you back to the wonder of childhood."

I love the cartoon style of the game and it’s going to make for a great animated series! I love how the game has a perfect balance of a bright, happy style that deals with some dark themes. Enjoy the sneak peek!
