Fun Teaser Trailer For TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: CHROME ALONE 2

Paramount Pictures has dropped a hilarious teaser for the upcoming animated short Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2, and it looks like it’ll be an absolute treat for fans of the heroes in a half shell.

This new short will premiere exclusively in theaters ahead of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants this December, bringing the Turtles back to the big screen for a festive, laugh-filled mini-adventure.

While fans wait for the TMNT: Mutant Mayhem sequel, which won’t hit theaters until 2027, this short gives everyone a reason to revisit the sewer-dwelling brothers in a story that riffs on one of the classic holiday comedies.

As the title hints, Chrome Alone 2 - Lost in New Jersey is a playful homage to Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The Turtles find themselves tangled in some chaotic Christmas fun when a shady toy company decides to cash in on their fame.

The official synopsis teases the goofy premise perfectly: “When a mysterious toy company (Authentic Imitations Toy Company in Newark, NJ) exploits the Turtles' newfound fame, the brothers follow clues to New Jersey where they stumble upon a shocking discovery.”

The short film is directed by Kent Seki, a talented VFX and animation filmmaker who worked as cinematographer on TMNT: Mutant Mayhem and Rumble. The screenplay comes from Andrew Joustra, with producers Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, James Weaver, Jeff Rowe, and Ramsay McBean backing the project.

It’s awesome to see Paramount keeping the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles energy alive between major releases. Chrome Alone 2 looks like it’ll deliver some great entertainment that fans will enjoy. Honestly, it’s just cool seeing the Turtles continue their momentum and stay on the big screen where they belong.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 will premiere in theaters on December 19, 2025, playing right before The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants. Get ready for some shell-shocking holiday fun!
