Fun Trailer For Animated Adaptation of Classic Children's Book THE POUT-POUT FISH Featuring Nick Offerman
A trailer has been released for the animated feature The Pout-Pout Fish, based on the best-selling children’s book series by Deborah Diesen.
The film is co-directed by Ricard Cussó (The Wishmas Tree, Combat Wombat 1 & 2, Scary Girl, A Sloth Story) and Rio Harrington. The screenplay is written by Elise Allen, Elie Choufany, and Dominic Morris.
The film features voice performances from Nick Offerman as Mr. Fish, and Nina Oyama as sea dragon Pip, as well as Miranda Otto, Remy Hii, Jordin Sparks, and Amy Sedaris.
The synopsis reads: “Two aquatic misfits embark on an impossible journey to save their home. Living on a rundown shipwreck, Mr. Fish discovers a hyperactive young sea dragon Pip - who had mistaken his home for a junkyard - pilfering his belongings.
“The heated argument that ensues leaves both their houses in ruin... But there is hope. Embarking on a seemingly impossible quest in search of the mythical "Shimmer" to grant them a wish, there's only one problem: someone else is on the hunt.”
