Fun Trailer for Dave Bautista's New Action-Comedy MY SPY
Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista has a new film coming out that looks like it will deliver some action-packed comedic entertainment. The movie is called My Spy, and it’s coming from STX Films.
The film follows a hardened CIA operative (Bautista) “who finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl (Chloe Coleman), having been sent undercover to surveil her family.”
Bautista is becoming a big action star, and like every other action star before him, he is now going to star in an action family comedy. I guess this is a rite of passage for action stars!? My Spy does look like it will deliver some solidly fun entertainment, though.
The film is being directed by Peter Segal (Get Smart, Fifty First Dates) from a script written by Jon and Erich Hoeber (Red, Battleship,The Meg).
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters later this year.
