Fun Trailer For Netflix's Adult Animated Series CAPTAIN FALL
Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming adult animated series Captain Fall, which has a star-studded voice cast. It looks like it will be an entertaining series!
The upcoming animated series centers on a “wet-behind-the-ears, yet good-hearted sea captain who unwittingly finds himself at the helm of a smuggling ship for a terrible international cartel who’s using him as a fall guy in case the authorities ever catch up to them.”
The show’s voice cast includes Jason Ritter (Gravity Falls, Raising Dion) as Jonathan Fall, Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Organized Crime, Man of Steel) as Agent Steel, Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer, Spartacus) as Liza, Anthony Carrigan (Barry, Gotham) as Mr. Tyrant, Alejandro Edda (Narcos: Mexico, The Last of Us Part II) as Pedro, Adam DeVine (The Righteous Gemstones, Workaholics) as Tanner, and Trond Fausa (Norsemen, Oppenheimer) as Nico.
Captain Fall is created by Jon Iver Helgaker and Jonas Torgersen, the same duo behind the Netflix-distributed Norwegian comedy series Norsemen. They shared in a statement: “We are thrilled to set out on this new adventure with Netflix. We first pitched Captain Fall as a live-action show, but Netflix saw the potential of it being animated. Although a bit scary in the beginning, moving from live-action to animation just feels amazingly limitless and creative on a whole new level. And luckily Netflix has surrounded us with a groups of extremely talented people, so everything is set up for us not screwing this one up. But you never know.”
Captain Fall is slated to premiere its first 10 episodes on Netflix on Friday, July 28.
