Here’s a trailer for a fun oddball sci-fi horror comedy titled The Hyperborean, which comes from writer Tony Burgess (Pontypool) and director Jesse Thomas Cook (Monster Brawl, Cult Hero).
In the film, “A whiskey magnate summons his contentious family to sample his legacy product: casks of Scotch aged 170 years, recovered from a ghost ship in the Canadian Arctic.” As you might imagine the story takes a wild turn and there also a laser-blasting ice mummy!
The movie stars Liv Collins, Ry Barrett, Jess Vano, Jonathan Craig, Justin Bott and Tony Burgess. The movie is currently making the festival rounds, and you can enjoy the bonkers trailer below.
