Fun Trailer for Woody Harrelson Feel-Good Basketball Movie CHAMPIONS
If you enjoy watching feel-good sports movies, I’ve got a trailer for one that you need to watch titled Champions. The movie stars Woody Harrelson as a former minor-league basketball coach who is court-ordered to take over and coach a team of young players with intellectual disabilities.
The synopsis reads:
"Their best shot is his last shot." Woody Harrelson stars in the hilarious, heartwarming story of a former minor-league basketball coach who, after a series of missteps, is ordered by the court to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, together, this team can go further than they ever imagined.
I’m a sucker for these kinds of movies. Sometimes I like walking away from a movie feeling happy, and it looks like this movie is going to deliver that kind of uplifting story.
The movie was directed by Bobby Farrelly (Dumb and Dumber), and it also stars Ernie Hudson, Cheech Marin, Matt Cook, Kaitlin Olson, Madison Tevlin, Joshua Felder, Kevin Iannucci, Ashton Gunning, and Matthew Von Der Ahe.
Focus Features will release Champions in select US theaters on March 24th, 2023.
