Fun Video Explores The "Forgotten Fads" of The 1980s
Growing up as a kid in the 80s was a freakin’ magical experience. I look back on those days with great fondness and I still have a lot of memories from growing up in that era. Rhetty for History has compiled a list of “forgotten fads” from the 1980s. While he calls them “forgotten” I think most people still remember remember them all, and some of them are still around!
The list includes boom boxes, break dancing, Rubik’s Cube, Pac-Man, parachute pants, MTV, Swatch watches, and wild hairdos. The video came with the following note:
The 1980s was a special decade especially for those that experienced it. there were many items that changed the world forever. Some of these may be long gone, but you never know when they’ll reappear. Just like the mullet, the decade will never truly die.
