Funimation Announces 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition Blu-Ray for DRAGON BALL Z

Just as the weekend was starting, Funimation and Toei Animation took to Twitter to tease a big announcement.

Then, the next day, Funimation announced that for the 30th anniversary of Dragon Ball Z, the whole series was going to be released in a collector’s edition on Blu-ray. It turns out that you don’t just get the Blu-rays though. What kind of lame collector’s edition would that be? According to the official website, fans will also get a full-sized hardback artbook and an exclusive figure to go along with some new bonus content on the Blu-ray. I’m sure this will not be all, though, as Funimation continues to tease that more information is on the way. There is one catch though. Funimation needs fans to reserve 2,500 copies in order to make this happen. I don’t think this will be a problem at all. So, what are you waiting for?
