Funimation is Expanding Spanish and Portuguese Dubs and Subs to English-Speaking Countries

Funimation is doing something awesome next week. On February 3, the anime streaming service will launch Spanish and Portuguese dubs and subtitles to English-speaking territories. Dubbed titles will include Assassination Classroom, Attack on Titan, Blood Blockade Battlefront, My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, and more. Subtitles will be available for additional titles including Cowboy Bebop and Fruits Basket. Asa Suehira of Funimation said:

Part of Funimation’s promise to fans is to be where they are, and if that’s their native language, then we will be there. As the popularity of anime continues to grow across the planet, we hope these new language offerings will enable more fans to enjoy their favorite content.

The new dubs and subs will be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Ireland.
