FunimationCon 2020 Announces New Panels and Events
Funimation has revealed some more fun that fans can expect at FunimationCon next month. Three new panels have been announced featuring voice actors from the English dub cast to have discussions and Q&A sessions with fans. The panels will be for Attack on Titan, Listeners, and Toilet-bound Hanako-kun.
Attack on Titan - Get ready for Attack on Titan The Final Season with Funimation! We sit down with the voices behind some of your favorite characters and relive the biggest moments from the first three seasons. This panel features voice actors Bryce Papenbrook (Eren), Trina Nishimura (Mikasa), Josh Grelle (Armin), J Michael Tatum (Erwin), Bryn Apprill (Christa), and Mike McFarland (ADR Director) and is moderated by Funimation's Josellie Rios. You will NOT want to miss this!
Listeners - Explore the world of Listeners with the English voice actors and the ADR director as they discuss the series and rock music! Also exclusive Q&A with Dai Sato, the co-creator and head writer, answering questions from Funimation fans of Listeners. Justin Briner (Echo Rec), Bryn Apprill (Mu), Lee George (Jimi Stonefree), and Cris George (ADR Director). The panel is hosted by Jacki Jing.
Toilet-bound Hanako-kun - Pursue the paranormal! Justin Briner (Hanako) and Ian Sinclair (Tsuchigomori) guide us through a behind the scenes look at recording from home, special messages from the cast, and an exclusive Q&A with the legendary Megumi Ogata (Hanako and Tsukasa). Additional guests include Tia Ballard (Nene), Emily Neves (Aoi), Aaron Dismuke (Natsuhiko), Tyson Rinehart (Kou), and Jād Saxton (ADR Director). Let’s get spooky!
In addition, Funimation and Aniplex have teamed up to stream Aniplex Online Fest as part of the convention on July 4. Finally, the convention will be home to the My Hero One’s Justice 2 Esports Challenge. This event will feature My Hero Academia stars Justin Briner, Clifford Chapin, Christopher Sabat, Patrick Seitz, Ricco Fajardo, and more recreating iconic fight scenes from the show in the game. This event will be hosted by professional wrestler Kenny Omega.
