Funko Games Announces New Games Including FAST & FURIOUS: HIGHWAY HEIST
Funko Games has some pretty big plans for 2021. Today, they’re announcing four new board game titles for fans of different genres and ages to engage in. There’s a little bit of something for everyone in the family to enjoy, and the prices are pretty great overall for board games. First, we’ve got ESPN Trivia Night.
This is a sports trivia game that has a bit of a twist. If you miss a question, you can do one of four different games to try to snatch a point. You can try your hand at some free throws, a field goal, something to do with baseball, or something to do with hockey. I’m sorry I don’t know enough to have fancy terms for those. This is a nice way to help people like me who know nothing about sports still be able to support their friends and family who do like sports. ESPN Trivia Night will be available in April for $19.99 and supports 2-10 players.
Face off against your friends and family in this high-octane sports trivia game! Draft sports categories you know you can dominate, or risk playing outside your comfort zone to net the big score. If you dropped the ball on your last answer, recover points in the active Instant Replay challenges. Outscore the opposing team or meet them in Sudden Death to decide the winner!
Next we have Fast & Furious: Highway Heist. I am not a fan of the Fast & Furious movies, but this game looks like a lot of fun. You and your friends will take on the roles of different characters from the films like Dom and Brian as you have to perform a high-speed heist. There are little vehicles that will move around and you’ll have to do crazy stunts like driving under a semi! The game really looks like a lot of fun even if you’re not into the franchise. Fast & Furious: Highway Heist will release in May for $29.99 and supports 2-4 players.

If you have little ones at home, you may be more interested in Disney Princess See the Story Game. This game is more of a matching game where you look for tokens from the same story. One really cool aspect is the wishing well which rotates and is able to just seamlessly drop tokens into the appropriate spots. It’s almost magical to watch that work. In addition, the game is part of the new “Babysitter Approved” line of games from Funko Games which means the box also acts as a convenient carrying case with a handle for taking to the babysitter, the rules are fairly simple, and the box will typically serve as the rules and/or part of the game board. You’ll be able to play this one with your children starting in June for $19.99 with support for 2-4 players.
Look into the magical wishing well! You’ll see enchanting objects and memorable characters from your favorite Disney Princess stories. Race to find two pictures from the same story! Marvel Battleworld is also getting some love this year. This March, fans will be able to grab the new Mega Pack - Loki (Frost Giant) which comes with six characters for your collection including the exclusive Frost Giant form of Loki and 2 Heroes trapperd in Thanostones. If you haven’t started playing Marvel Battleworld, this is a great starting point. The game supports 1-4 players and the new Mega Pack - Loki (Frost Giant) will be available for $24.99 this March.

In addition, there will also be a chase variant of The Queen of Hearts for collectors to look out for. The chase version features a very sparkly coating on the dress and the box will be marked with a sticker, so you don’t have to second guess. Alice in Wonderland 100 2-Pack will be available on April 1 for $24.99 and can be played as a stand-alone game or combined with other Funkoverse sets.
