Funko Reveals New POKEMON Funko Pops and Loungefly Bags

Funko showed up to Toy Fair 2020 with some great new Pokémon products to show off. The brand most well-known for its stylized vinyl figures of pop culture characters hasn’t done too much with the Pokémon brand. They may have done some fun Pikachu figures and also released versions of the Kanto starters, but that’s about it. There hasn’t been too much expansion. Well, they’ve decided to change that. Over the next few months, fans will be able to find fun Funko Pops for Cubone, Growlithe, angry Pikachu, and Rattata. The wave after that will feature more fan-favorites including Mewtwo, Mr. Mime, Pichu, and Vulpix.

As I mentioned above, Funko has released some fun Pikachu figures as part of a collection titled “A Day with Pikachu,” which released a new figure every month. Now, the team has taken that concept and traded in Pikachu for the lovable Eevee. “An Afternoon with Eevee” is a new upcoming collection that will feature new monthly figures with each one focusing on a different Eeveelution. Between Eevee and his 8 evolutions, fans will surely be in for some great figures. In fact, the Eevee figure is now available with the Vaporeon figure becoming available next month.

Figures aren’t the only things that Funko showed off though. The company also showed off some of the new Pokémon Loungefly bags. These seem to be once again focused on Pikachu and the Kanto starters. I will admit that I really want that adorable Squirtle backpack.
