Funko Unveils Their "Savage World" THUNDERCATS Action Figures

Funko has a new line of collectible figures that they call "Savage World" that are inspired by the style of the classic He-Man action figure line. Their latest line of 5.5-inch "Savage World" figures have been revealed and they include the characters from the classic 1980s cartoon series ThunderCats!

Welcome to Third Earth – second home to the ThunderCats – following the destruction of their home planet Thundera. Lion-O, Lord of the ThunderCats and wielder of the Sword of Omens is ready to face off with Panthro against the demon priest Mumm-Ra and leader of the Reptilians, Slithe. These action figures are ready to reenact key battles between the ThunderCats and their chief antagonists.

The line-up includes Lion-O, Panthro, Mumm-Ra and Slithe and they will be released in October. This is just the first wave of figures for this set so there are more coming. They will cost you about $13.

These are actually more appealing to me than the Funko POP! figures and I'll probably end up getting deep into collecting them.
