Funny New Trailer For Adam Sandler and Chris Rock's Netflix Film THE WEEK OF

Netflix has released another trailer for Adam Sandler and Chris Rock's upcoming comedy The Week Of. Adam Sandler's films have been more miss than hit for me in more recent years, but this next film of his actually looks like it will be a funny comedy worth checking out. There's a different, more mature style of comedy to it than some of his previous Netflix films like The Ridiculous Six, The Do-Over, and Sandy Wexler. Here's the story summary:

When two very different fathers (Adam Sandler and Chris Rock) come together for their children’s wedding, everything that could go wrong, does. Watch the hilarious hijinks as the two try to keep everything afloat, while dealing with their families...and each other. Before they get to the big day, they have to go through a long week.

I hope that this movie ends Sandler's streak of bad comedies. The movie was written and directed by Saturday Night Live writer Robert Smigel. It also co-stars Rachel DratchSteve Buscemi, Rob Morgan, Scott Cohen, and more.

The Week Of premieres April 27th on Netflix.

The Week Of tells the story of a devoted, middle class father (Adam Sandler) determined to pay for his daughter's wedding despite the prodding of the wealthier father of the groom (Chris Rock). A series of calamities forces the dads (and their families) to come together and endure the longest week of their lives.
