Funny New Trailer for Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell's Christmas Musical Comedy SPIRITED
Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell have teamed up for a new Christmas musical comedy movie titled Spirited! It’s based on Charles Dickens’s classic A Christmas Carol, and we’ve got a brand new trailer for you to watch today! The movie looks like it’s going to offer up some good comedy! It’s described as a “sweet and spicy holiday treat.”
In the movie, “Each Christmas Eve, the Ghost of Christmas Present (Ferrell) selects one dark soul to be reformed by a visit from three spirits. But this season, he picked the wrong Scrooge. Clint Briggs (Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his own past, present and future. For the first time, 'A Christmas Carol' is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale.”
All the other ghosts believe that this Clint Briggs character is un-fixable. But, I’m sure that everything is going to work out in the end and all will be good in the world and he’ll emerge from this haunting experience as a new man.
The movie comes from Daddy's Home and Instant Family director Sean Anders, and it also stars Octavia Spencer, Sunita Mani, Patrick Page, Joe Tippett, Marlow Barkley, and Jen Tullock.
Spirited will be released in select theaters on November 11, 2022, before becoming available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+ on November 18, 2022.
