Funny or Die's VFX Reel for MANCHESTER BY THE SEA Reveals a Hilarious Amount of Green Screen
Last year, Funny or Die parodied those VFX clip reels that always make the rounds on film websites by creating a fake one for Todd Haynes' romance Carol. Now the site is back again with a new fake entry, this time celebrating Kenneth Lonergan's Oscar-winning film Manchester by the Sea. Even if you haven't seen it, you probably know enough about it to realize that it's not exactly the kind of movie that contains a ton of visual effects, and the scenarios this video suggests (including a random Fast & Furious connection) are pretty funny.
