Funny Theatrical Trailer for Jason Bateman's BAD WORDS

Focus Features has released a fun new theatrical trailer for Jason Bateman's R-rated comedy Bad Words. Bateman not only stars in the film, he also directed it as well. The story follows a spelling bee loser who sets out to exact revenge by finding a loophole and attempting to win these spelling bee competitions as an adult. If you missed the Red-Band trailer for the film, check it out here. The movie looks like it could be a hilarious comedy, and I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Mr. Bateman stars as Guy Trilby, a 40-year-old who finds a loophole in the rules of The Golden Quill national spelling bee and decides to cause trouble by hijacking the competition. Contest officials, outraged parents, and overly ambitious 8th graders are no match for Guy, as he ruthlessly crushes their dreams of victory and fame. As a reporter (Kathryn Hahn of We’re the Millers) attempts to discover his true motivation, Guy finds himself forging an unlikely alliance with a competitor: awkward 10-year-old Chaitanya (Rohan Chand of Homeland), who is completely unfazed by Guy’s take-no-prisoners approach to life.

The movie will open up in limited theaters on March 21st, 2014, then expand wide on March 28th.
