Netflix has released a teaser trailer for a new comedy titled You People, which stars Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill. The story centers on a couple played by Hill and Lauren London, who fall in love and find themselves “confronting societal expectations and generational differences amidst their families.”

The trailer sees Hill sitting down with Murphy and his wife, played by Nia Long, to ask for their permission to marry their daughter, and the whole conversation is hilariously cringe-worthy. This movie looks like it’s going to be incredibly funny!

You People was directed by Kenya Barris (Black-ish, Entergalactic), and it also stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Duchovny, Sam Jay, Elliot Gould, Travis Bennett, Molly Gordon, Rhea Perlman, Deon Cole, Andrea Savage, Mike Epps, Emily Arlook, Alani La La Anthony, and Bryan Greenberg.

You People will be released on Netflix on January 27th on Netflix. Enjoy the trailer!
