Funny Trailer for Indie Scottish Comedy THE INCOMER Starring Domhnall Gleeson
A trailer has been released for the indie Scottish comedy feature The Incomer, starring Domhnall Gleeson, Gayle Rankin, Grant O'Rourke, Emun Elliott, Michelle Gomez, and John Hannah.
The film is written and directed by Louis Paxton in his feature directorial debut after many other short films, after having worked on the series Shetland and Wreck.
The synopsis reads: “Sundance Award winning comedy The Incomer is a modern folk fairy tale set on a remote Scottish island, where two siblings survive by hunting seabirds, retelling the stories of their ancestors, and defending the isle from dreaded ‘Incomers'.
“Their world is upended with the arrival of an awkward council worker who has come to uproot them from their homeland on behalf of the government.”
This looks like a fun and quirky story with a solid cast. Check out the trailer below, and watch The Incomer in theaters on September 25th.
