FX Has Ordered Limited Series Adaptation of A TEACHER Starring Kate Mara and Nick Robinson

FX has ordered the limited series adaptation from the film A Teacher to hit the small screen. FX has ordered 10 episodes of the series. The original film came out in 2013 at Sundance Film Festival. Hannah Fidell was the writer, director, and producer of the film, and is coming back to write, direct, and executive produce the series as well. The series has cast Kate Mara (The Martian, House of Cards) and Nick Robinson (Jurassic World, Love, Simon) in the main roles, and Variety reports the following synopsis:

The series explores the story behind the mugshot of a female high school teacher, Claire (Mara), caught in an affair with her male student, Eric (Robinson), revealing the complexities and consequences of these illegal relationships.
