Looks like FX and Hulu are happy with the new American Horror Story spinoff series American Horror Stories because they’ve gone ahead and renewed it for a second season.

The Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk created series will dive into the “horror myths, legends and lore. Many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love.” Each episode will feature a different story, and some of them will return to classic locations from American Horror Story.

I’ve enjoyed the new series so far, and I’m not surprised that it’s getting a second season. They just are looking to tell good, fun, and creepy stories and they end up pretty damn entertaining.

The cast for the series includes Matt Bomer, John Carroll Lynch, Naomi Grossman, Charles Melton, and Billie Lourd. The cast also includes Gavin Creel, Sierra McCormick, Ashley Martin Carter, Paris Jackson, Belissa Escobedo, Kaia Gerber, Aaron Tveit, Rhenzy Feliz, Madison Bailey, Kyle Red Silverstein, Dyllón Burnside, Nico Greetham, Kevin McHale, and Virginia Gardner. It also stars Amy Grabow as Tipper Gore, the wife of former Senator Al Gore, and Danny Trejo as Santa Claus.

The seventh and final episode of the first season is set to drop on August 19th, and Season 2 is expected to debut in 2022.
