FX Renews WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS For a Third Season
While fans have been enjoying the hilarious second season of the mockumentary vampire series What We Do in the Shadows, FX has been renewed it for a third season!
When I first heard that Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi’s What We Do in The Shadows was being developed as TV series, I thought it would be fun, but honestly didn’t think it would be as good or as funny as the film. Well, it turns out that it’s just as good and as hilarious. This show always makes me laugh, so I couldn’t be happier to hear that we are getting a new season!
Nick Grad, president of original programming for FX Entertainment said in a statement:
“We’re incredibly happy that critics and audiences are all in on ‘Shadows.’ Week in and week out, the producers, writers and our amazing cast continue to make one of the funniest and best comedy series on TV.”
What We Do in the Shadows follows four vampires who’ve “lived” together for hundreds of years. In Season 2, the vampires try “to find their way in a world of human Super Bowl parties, internet trolls, an energy vampire who gets a promotion and becomes drunk on power and of course, all the ghosts, witches, necromancers, zombies and shadowy cloaked assassins who roam freely in the Tri-State area.”
I’m having a blast watching the second season. It’s been fun to watch the story play out and it’s exciting to know that it will continue!
