FX's Y: THE LAST MAN Adaptation Gets a New Showrunner
A couple of months ago, we found out that FX’s adaptation of Y: The Last Man was in a bit of trouble as the showrunners left the project. Well, THR may have some good news for you as they are reporting that the adaptation has found a new showrunner. Eliza Clark will now be showrunner for the show simply being called Y. The adaptation is still expected to release in 2020.
I read the first volume of Y: The Last Man a couple months ago, and it was pretty interesting so I’m excited to see this adaptation. In a statement, Clark said:
“A decade ago I devoured the complete Y: The Last Man series cover to cover, imagining how it might take shape on screen. It introduced me to the amazing work of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra and the complex, fascinating world of Y. I’m thrilled to tell this story and to be working with this immensely talented cast.”
Are you excited to see Y?
