DMs Guild Content to Get Official Support on Roll20

Some big news happened recently for fans of the virtual tabletop (VTT) ecosystem Roll20. It was recently announced by Roll20 and OneBookShelf that DMs Guild content will soon be officially supported on the VTT. Many details are still missing, but the teams are working so that DMs Guild creators will be able to integrate the content they make for easier use on Roll20. According to the FAQ, any DMs Guild creator is eligible to participate and Roll20 will aid in onboarding them. More information is on its way and while this is exciting, there are some unknowns to be wary of. However, Emily Floyd of Roll20 said:

At Roll20 we have seen passionate support for DMsGuild content – from both our community and our Creators – and we are thrilled to create a more seamless way to play that amazing catalog of content online while expanding the possibilities for DMsGuild players and Creators.

Meanwhile, Scott Holden of OneBookShelf said:

Our goal has always been to build a space for aspiring designers who love games as we do. DMsGuild was an extension of this philosophy, providing a new opportunity to the gaming community, and now we have a shared mission with Roll20 to open an even larger space where creators can distribute and profit from their work

I wonder if other OneBookShelf brands will get the same opportunity. I think Roll20 is a fine VTT and honestly one thing that has held me back in the past for integrating some great content from DMs Guild is all the prep work I’d have to do. Having a more seamless way to bring my purchased content would go a long way for me. Are you excited for this news?
