Gal Gadot Confirms Wonder Woman Stayed an Active Hero Fighting Evil After She "Walked Away From Mankind"

At a recent press conference for Justice League, Gal Gadot spoke with the people at Den of Geek to answer some questions. One thing that Gadot confirmed was that even though her character told Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) in Batman V Superman, “[a] hundred years ago I walked away from mankind; from a century of horrors. Men made a world where standing together is impossible.” This does not mean that Diana did nothing in that time. During that whole time, she was active in fighting evil, it just seemed to be a bit more incognito, which is very shocking when you think about Diana’s thoughts on stealth in Wonder Woman.

“But what is clear is that whether or not Wonder Woman was out there or incognito, she was always involved and she was always very active in Man’s World, and she was always acting to save and to help, and to better the world.”

This raises a couple questions for me since I now want to know why she didn’t just kill Hitler in the beginning of World War II since she’s so freaking amazing. Maybe that will be explained in Wonder Woman 2.
