Gal Gadot Shares What Its Been Like to Play Disney's Evil Queen in the Live-Action SNOW WHITE

Gal Gadot is one of Hollywood’s favorite actresses right now. The Wonder Woman and Death on the Nile star has a lot of projects on her schedule right now, but the one she is currently shooting is the live-action remake of Disney’s first feature-length animated movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Gadot is playing the Evil Queen, and she sat down with Forbes to let them know what the experience is like.

“I love it (laughs)! It’s fun, I get to do something different. I get to sing and I get to dance and I get to play the villain, which is something that I’ve never done before - and it’s the first Disney villain ever. I really enjoy working with all people involved, with Marc Webb [directing] and Marc Platt producing and Disney, of course, [actress] Rachel Zegler. It’s just a great experience and I really, really enjoy it and The Evil Queen is very evil, so it’s going to be interesting.”

Gadot will be featured in the film alongside West Side Story star Rachel Zegler, who will play the title role of Snow White, as well as Andrew Burnap (WeCrashed), who will play a character named Jonathan, who I assume is the prince.

I think it will be a lot of fun to see Gadot in the villainous role. The film is currently in production, and is set to hit theatres in 2023.
