Gal Gadot To Star in a New Spy Thriller From The Writer of THE OLD GUARD, Greg Rucka

Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) is taking on the lead role in a new action spy thriller coming from Skydance. The film is said to be similar to action franchises such as James Bond and Mission: Impossible.

Comic book writer Greg Rucka, who most recently wrote the script for Charlize Theron’s Netflix action movie The Old Guard, is set to write the script for the film. He’s also worked on projects such as Action Comics, Stumptown, Wonder Woman, Batwoman, Detective Comics, Lazarus, Whiteout, and Black Magick.

According to Discussing Film, the movie might be a “Spy v Spy” movie, but that is unconfirmed. There aren’t really any other details to share regarding the plot.

I really enjoyed The Old Guard, though! That was a pretty cool action movie that had some pretty badass fight scenes! I also liked the story that it told. I’m curious to see what Rucka ends up creating for this upcoming untitled film spy thriller. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’ll deliver some solid entertainment.

It’ll also be great to see Gadot take on another big action movie role that isn’t Wonder Woman. She has various films in development including Death on the Nile, Wonder Woman 1984, and she will star alongside Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s big-budget action thriller, Red Notice. She is also set to star in the role of Hedy Lamarr in a biopic series for Apple TV+.
