Gal Gadot's New Wonder Woman Costume Revealed in Poster for WONDER WOMAN 1984
Director Patty Jenkins has shared the first poster for Wonder Woman 1984 and as you can see, it’s exploding with all kinds of vibrant colors. It’s kind of a trippy poster and it also offers us our first look at a new outfit that Gal Gadot will be sporting in the film. I dig it!
This is a pretty awesome poster as it’s so different from the kinds of posters that we normally see for superhero and comic book movies. The poster came with the following note from Jenkins:
“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full-- But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”
It’s a shame that we won’t get to see anything new from this film at Comic-Con this year, but I’m still excited for the film and trust that Jenkins is going to deliver another great Wonder Woman movie.
We still don’t know much about the story, but we do know the film is set in 1984 and is said to follow Diana Prince as she reunites with Steve Trevor to fight a new evil force. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal possibly as a God in disguise.
Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on June 5th, 2020.
