GAME OF THRONES Actor Iain Glen Will Play Bruce Wayne in TITANS Season 2
We only got shadowy glimpses of Batman in the first season of DC Universe’s Titans series, but now fans will be able to put a face with the man behind the cowl.
Deadline is reporting that Iain Glen has been cast in the role of an older take on Bruce Wayne in Season 2. This is a direction for the character that I wasn’t expecting, but I like it! You all know Glen as the mercenary knight Jorah Mormont on HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Here’s the official character description for Bruce Wayne that was released:
“After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson, the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.”
There’s no word on if Glen will be seen wearing the Batman suit in Titans, but I imagine that there’s a pretty good chance that we will.
Glen is a solid actor, and I think that he’ll make for a great version of a grizzled Bruce Wayne in Titans. He joins Brenton Thwaites as Robin, aka Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Esai Morales as Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, and Joshua Orpin as Superboy.
What do you all think of Glen taking on the role of Bruce Wayne in Titans?
Season 2 is set to premiere this fall on DC Universe.
