GAME OF THRONES Might Shoot Multiple Endings For Its Series Finale

With the second to last season of Game of Thrones recently wrapping up, the stage is now set for what will hopefully be an epic six-episode finale. But, don't hold your breath for spoilers about who will wind up on the Iron Throne, because there seems to be a plan in place to shoot multiple endings for the finale.

In a recent interview with The Morning Call, HBO Programming President Casey Bloys talked about that very subject while speaking at Bethlehem’s Moravian College last week.

"I know in ‘Game of Thrones,’ the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end."

It must be said that HBO has neither confirmed nor denied the report, but it would not be that surprising to learn this considering how big of a deal the Game of Thrones finale will be. We do know that producers are taking precautions to protect secrets of the finals.

Recently Dan Weiss said, "We don’t even want to tell you because if we do then somebody will figure out how to circumvent the things that we’re doing." Production on the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones starts up again in October, which means that the final season may not debut until late 2018 or 2019.
