GAME OF THRONES Season 7 Finale Gets a Title and it will be the Show's Longest Episode so Far

Next week marks the season finale of the 7th season of Game Of Thrones on HBO, but the producers seem to be making up for few number of episodes by beefing up Sunday’s finale. HBO confirmed today that the last episode of the current season will be nearly 80 minutes long, officially making it the show’s longest episode ever. We had heard rumors that season 7 would have a record-long episode, but the network didn’t make that official until today.

We also learned the title of the final episode and that might get some eyebrows raised: "The Dragon and the Wolf." That title could be a reference to the relationship between Daenerys and Jon Snow. Also, may reference Jon’s status as the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Despite what you think the title may mean, it goes without saying this episode could easily end up as the most-watched GOT ever.

Vulture reports the show is now regularly averaging over 10 million same-day viewers and has set series-best ratings records three of the six weeks it has aired this summer.
