GAME OF THRONES Showrunners "Apologize" For The Most Recent Episode

Last Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones left a huge mark on the show's fans and readers of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire saga alike, but if you haven't seen it yet and somehow made it to this page anyway, turn back now.

Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss went on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to "apologize" for the episode...not for killing Hodor, but for all of the stupid jokes and wink-wink comments you're going to have to endure for years every time someone asks you to "hold the door." I've already seen about thirty pictures of Hodor's face taped onto elevator buttons and doorstops, so if you were thinking about doing that, please don't. It's already been done to death, and it's only been a few days since the episode aired.

The most recent episode of "Game of Thrones" was particularly upsetting for fans of the show. Even now people are still talking about the shocking turn of events at the end of the show - and producers DB Weiss and David Benioff took the extraordinary step of apologizing to their fans.
