GAME OF THRONES' "The Long Night" Gets an Awesome 40-Minute Behind-the-Scenes Featurette
While I enjoyed the hell out of this week’s episode of Game of Thrones, which is titled “The Long Night,” my biggest complaint is that I could barely see what was happening! There were also a lot of fans that were ultimately disappointed, which I can understand.
This episode was being built up as one of the most epic battle scene ever shot for TV or film, something that would rival the battle scenes in Lord of the Rings, but definitely fell short of that. Had the cast and crew not hyped up the battle so much, maybe people would have liked it better.
Anyway, HBO has released a great featurette for you to watch that takes a deep, 40-minute dive into what went into bringing this battle against the Night King and his White Walkers to life.
One of the things that I like about this video most is that you get to see the battle in a completely different light. It’s pretty incredible to see how the cast and crew pulled this off.
