Games Coming In January: Playstation 4

2020 is upon us with a bunch of new games that we are both excited and intrigued about. From planetary exploration to epic anime battles, Playstation 4 has a great new lineup of games to start the year. There are a number of other games we are excited about that may be coming in January but aren’t on this list, as they don’t have a hard release date yet, so we haven’t included them here.

Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack - January 14th

Coming back from the PS3 era, we get a pack of three JRPG titles from the Atelier series. Brimming with drama, turn-based action, fun characters and deep RPG mechanics, these three games will keep any player busy for hours and hours.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot - January 17th

Our favorite Sayan is back in the shape of a story focused based action game which takes the player through all the best storylines from the series we all know and love. With visuals that almost pass for the actual anime, we get to live and play through our favorite moments from the last 30 years.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection - January 21st

We’ve been blessed with playing through the Mega Man franchise and Mega Man X collection in the last few years with great bundles that have come to current generation platforms. But now we get to move up to the Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX games. We get to rock out with our favorite red robot and shoot and slash the forces of evil down to size.

Kingdom Hearts: ReMind - January 23rd

After the decade (and some) of waiting for Kingdom Hearts III, fans were not as happy with its release as they could have been. So, when the announcement of a DLC came around, people were pretty mixed about the news. Would it have some features that the game should have had from the beginning? Would it flush out certain hanging threads? Would it add any more substantial gameplay elements? We don’t have too much information, but we are all anticipating its soon release.

Journey to the Savage Planet - January 28th

After last year’s Outer Worlds and Outer Wilds success of planetary discovery and exploration, we get this up-beat and fun game where a player is thrown into an alien planet, seeing if it is habitable while fighting off a number of odd enemies. This game looks like loads of moment to moment entertainment that doesn’t take itself too seriously, embarrassing the wonderfully odd things we could find in the universe.
