GameShell Looks Awesome for Retro Game Developers and Players

GameShell is an open source, portable, modular, gaming machine from Clockwork. It looks a lot like a GameBoy, but it offers a lot more. It is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and 1GB DDR3 RAM.

On the main board, you get built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as well. The board can support Linux as well for pretty much anything you need. GameShell is designed to be usable for programming games or playing games and so much more.

This thing looks really cool! You can get a kit that includes everything you need including a 16GB microSD card, speaker, battery, and 2.7” RGB screen for about $160 on Amazon right now with a few different color options available. Oh, and you can connect the GameShell to your monitor or TV using the micro-HDMI port.

This thing looks absolutely perfect if you want to either develop or simply play retro games.
