Welcome back, my geeky friends, to another episode of the GameTyrant Podcast, hosted by the roguishly handsome and amazingly humble Jake Smith. (Oh hey, that’s me!) Today we take you on a journey through a genre of gaming that many of us hold near and dear to our hearts: fighting games.
Re-joining me in this discussion are GeekTyrant VS veterans Parker Abegg and Drew Lawrence, along with our audio engineer Justin Holman and GameTyrant Podcast newcomer Bryan Dayley, also of VS fame. We go over some of our favorites, a couple of lesser known titles, and discuss why fighting games remain one of the leading competitive e-sports - from trash talking at arcades to competing in professional tournaments.
