Gareth Edwards' Sci-Fi Film TRUE LOVE adds Amar Chadha-Patel as Multiple "Simulant" Characters

Rogue One and Godzilla director Gareth Edwards is set to direct a new sci-fi film titled True Love and he’s cast Amar Chadha-Patel (Willow, The Wheel of Time, Dashcam) to play multiple characters.

Details on the plot of the film have not been revealed, but we do know Chadha-Patel will appear as multiple characters that are called “Simulants” in the movie, and include Satra, Sergeant Bui and Inspector Omni. The film is also said to be set in the near future.

He joins the previously cast Ken Watanabe, who replaced Benedict Wong on the film, as well as John David Washington, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney and Sturgill Simpson. Kiri Hart (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) is a producer alongside Edwards.

The project is set up at New Regency, who is producing and financing the project.
