Gary Oldman's SLOW HORSES Renewed For Season 6 at Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has renewed Gary Oldman’s hit series Slow Horses for a sixth season. The season will be based on the sixth and seventh books in Mick Herron’s series, Joe Country and Slough House.

In Season 6, “the spies head out on the run as Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.”

The news of the renewal comes after the conclusion of Season 4. The series has been a big hit for Apply TV+. It follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents and their obnoxious boss, the notorious Jackson Lamb, as they navigate the espionage world's smoke and mirrors to defend England from sinister forces.

Season 5 was announced earlier this year and is expected to premiere in 2025. The ensemble cast also includes Jonathan Pryce, Hugo Weaving and Joanna Scanlan.

Slow Horses is adapted for television by Will Smith and produced by See-Saw Films for Apple TV+. Will Smith, Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Julian Stevens and Graham Yost are executive producers.

Oldman previously said that he is looking to retire after Slow Horses comes to an end, so it’s good to see that this show continues to get renewed!
