Geek Investing: This Kickstarter Will Allow You To Customize Your Very Own Lightsaber

Here's a Kickstarter project that I think is absolutely worth your money! OTS Sabers is looking to let you create your very own lightsaber...and they're giving you all the tools to do so! OTS Sabers have been designing custom lightsabers for various people for years, but the company now has a demand much greater than it can possibly handle in any timely fashion.

To combat this, owner Ken Hampton has developed a new process for making his sabers. He's reworked the chassis into a highly customizable piece that allows for around 800,000 variations! This allows for the person who orders to be able to get their own saber, and then handle the unique customization on their own. While it will require a bit additional work on the consumer end, it ensures you'll get your product much faster than in the past.

They've already hit their goal of $75k and are well past the $125k mark as of posting. Depending on your level of handiness, you can donate $80 dollars and get the chassis and crystal chamber...then get your own blade and all that.
