Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan Currently in Talks to Join Marvel's ETERNALS
We have two new actors in negotiations to join Marvel’s upcoming superhero film Eternals. The film already has a star-filled cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Dong-seok Ma, and Lauren Ridloff.
Now, Variety reports that sources tell them that Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan is currently in talks to join the cast of the superhero film. While some sources say she may be back to play Minn-Erva, the role she played in Captain Marvel, others are saying the role will be unrelated to her previous one.
Also in negotiations is Barry Keoghan (Dunkirk, Chernobyl). Collider reports that the rising star’s would-be character is being kept under wraps, so we will just have to wait on more information on that front.
Chloe Zhao is set to direct, from a script written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. Eternals is set to hit theaters on November 6, 2020. Would you be excited to have Chan and Keoghan join the cast?
