Gender-Swapped Remake HE'S ALL THAT Has Hired COBRA KAI Actor Tanner Buchanan to Star

Cobra Kai actor Tanner Buchanan has joined the gender-swapped remake of the 1999 teen film She’s All That, renamed He’s All That. Mean Girls director Mark Waters is on board to direct from a script by R. Lee Fleming, who wrote the original 1999 teen comedy starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachael Leigh Cook as well.

The modern reboot will star TikTok sensation Addison Rae, who will play a young influencer who decides to take on a hopeless classmate and transform him into a popular hottie. As with the original, Rae’s character is starting out with a pretty good prototype. Buchanan is a good-looking kid, and it’s probably not going to take much to make him popular. But I’m not the target audience for this movie, and I’m sure there are plenty of people who will love it.
