Geoff Johns GREEN LANTERN CORPS Movie Script Will Be Completed Soon and Presented To J.J. Abrams

In case you were wondering, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. is still developing a Green Lantern Corps movie. According to Variety, the film is a priority for them and Geoff Johns will apparently turn in a completed script by the end of the year.

It’s also being reported that the project might be presented to J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot to see if it’s a project they would be interested in producing. It would certainly be interesting to see if Bad Robot ended up getting into the DC business.

We know that the two main characters in the film will be Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and Johns previously teased how the movie will start, saying:

"I've waited a LIFETIME to write this...

"FADE IN:

"ON a GREEN RING soaring through space..."

I would love to see DC produce a badass Green Lantern Corps movie, so hopefully, Johns will be able to pull it off. That last Green Lantern movie was a turd. There’s no doubt that Abrams and Bad Robot would be able to help steer the film in the right direction if they came on board.
