George Clooney and Brad Pitt Set To Star in a New Film From SPIDER-MAN Director Jon Watts
The director of the Spider-Man films Homecoming, Far From Home, and No Way Home Jon Watts has signed on to helm a new thriller that will reunite George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
This is a big high-profile project and the studios and streaming services are all trying to get their hands on it. Sony Pictures , Lionsgate, Annapurna, MGM, Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Apple, and Netflix are have all joined in the bidding war.
Watts is set to write, direct and produce with Clooney producing through Smokehouse Pictures and Pitt through his Plan B Entertainment.
All we know about the story for the film so far is that it follows “two lone-wolf fixers who are assigned to the same job.”
It’ll be interesting to see who ends up snatching the film. In the end, the real winners are Watts, Clooney, and Pitt, who are all going to make a lot of money from the project.
